"Life on Mars" track
The "Life on Mars" trail is one of the most famous and exciting trails in Pag and perhaps in the whole of Croatia. Its name comes from the harsh, rocky landscapes that resemble the surface of Mars. Recently, the trail has been spiced up with a 100m attractive Via Ferrata, crossing over the rock above the sea and connecting the Slana bay and Cape Sušac. The length of the trail is about 15 kilometers, and the walk can last between 4 and 7 hours, depending on your physical shape and speed.
Highlights:
- Beach Ručica: A beautiful beach with crystal clear sea.
- Metajna Canyon: An impressive canyon that offers a spectacular view of the nature of the island.
- Viewpoint at the top of the trail: Panoramic view of the entire island and the surrounding sea.
